Lithium-ion battery packs have higher energy density than conventional lithium polymer battery packs enabling FPV drones to reach flight times of up to 41 minutes (see table below). Until recently, Li-ion battery packs have required DIY assembly of individual 18650 Li-ion cells, but now Auline has released a range of pre-built Li-ion battery packs for long range FPV (see table above). The majority of these battery packs are built from Sony VTC5A or VTC6 18650 cells, which strike a great balance between the high continuous discharge rate required for dynamic FPV flight and the large capacity required to maximise flight time (compare different 18650 cells here). Get your Auline Li-ion pack whilst stocks last!

GNB 300 for freestyling and cruising, GNB 260 or NBD Nitro Nectar 250 for racing  Danny

I like the URUAV 550 more than the Emax 450, I know it has a little bit more punch  Joe

T-MOTOR FPV motors – 6S LiPo Opinions

Popularity contest isn’t necessarily the best way to make decisions, but the better options are popular for a reason. Yeah – knowing enough about the chemistry and electrode differences that are why the performance differs, different options are good for different reasons. R-Lines, and similar silicon-graphene cells are the highest specific power output, but you give up a little capacity. The pure graphene options are actually better for sustained loads and have better usable capacity – the CNHL White G+ are actually better batteries for most freestyle uses than most of those options on there, just most people haven’t tried them. The Acehe’s are even better, just impossible to find  Daniel

DRONE RACING INTERNATIONAL FPV – 6S LiPo Freestyle Opinions

I’ve used the tattu batteries for over a year flying freestyle, never had one die or have issues  Mike

Tattu R line V3 🙂 just because they are light and deliver some real power  Josef

Tattu v3 all the way  Casey

I have been using the same Acehe 1500 packs for over a year with no issues. In my experience Tattu are for racers that dont buy their own lipos and only use them a few times  Huey

I love the black edition!! Chinahobbyline  F6 FPV

Unless you’re getting a good discount on those tattu batteries, they aren’t worth it  Ryan
