DRONE RACING INTERNATIONAL FPV – FPV Racing Camera Opinions

A top level pilot gave me what he races with and I must say I love it and switched all my kwads over. It’s the swift 3 with a 2.1. The pilot was the multigp champ himself 😎😎😎😎  Jim

80% of them are low latency to where we wouldn’t notice it anyways. If you want a good tried and tested cam that won’t let you down, the micro eagle by runcam 😉 or you could go for that ccd yummy new ethic cam. My next one most deff  Jason

I run nothing but RunCam swift (nano and full) and the video is fantastic  Nik

Runcam racer Nano 2 is awesome!  Vincent

T-MOTOR FPV motors – FPV Freestyle Camera Opinions

DJI. 👑 Did my first Bando yesterday. Man what a difference between my Predator and hdo Rapidfire goggle. Had no breakup and no weird latency. And the image quality was superb  💪💪💪  Martijn

I don’t fly freestyle but the Runcam Racer 2 / 3 is very popular even for freestyle here in Germany  Daniel

Predator. FTW  Vik

Best Video Transmitter for FPV Drone Comparison Table

Clickable tables (above) will take a few seconds to load… CLICK tables for latest prices. OFFICIAL DJI DIGITAL FPV OWNERS GROUP was asked to vote for their ‘preferred vtx for digital FPV?’. OFFICIAL DJI DIGITAL OWNERS GROUP – Digital VTX Opinions

I’m not sure which I like better. Vista or air unit. Both have their purpose. For me normal 5” flying and racing around trees I prefer air unit. Micro sized and light weight 5” on a normal open course vista  Kelvin

I haven’t flown my AU’s since I got my Vistas aside from the comparison vlogs 😳  Conrad

For me the vista and bandoo got enough range on 200mw, no problems with analog users and more range than 800mw analog  Patrick

5 inch = AU, otherwise Vista  Rick

Long Range Hooligans – Long-range VTX Opinions

In fairness, I know 1.3Ghz is better and penetration is great when using just omni. My long range is always casual, quick setup times, there is literally no beating a 400-1W 5.8Ghz system for 10-15km when you can literally just screw a tiny crosshair or spironet 13dbi to your goggles and have good video. All without needing a ground station. If I’m going to take the time to shoot out to like 20km+, I will make the effort of setting up the ground station  Josh

I haven’t actually done any propper long range with it, but I’ve really been liking the fx2 dominator, it needs to be cooled well, but it puts out a clean 1.8w of power as measured on proper lab equipment. I have no idea what amp they’re using to do it, but they’re doing something right  Luke

Any of them will do good with good antennas. A good receiver antenna is worth 10 vtxs  Mike
