DRONE RACING INTERNATIONAL FPV – FPV Racing Camera Opinions

A top level pilot gave me what he races with and I must say I love it and switched all my kwads over. It’s the swift 3 with a 2.1. The pilot was the multigp champ himself 😎😎😎😎  Jim

80% of them are low latency to where we wouldn’t notice it anyways. If you want a good tried and tested cam that won’t let you down, the micro eagle by runcam 😉 or you could go for that ccd yummy new ethic cam. My next one most deff  Jason

I run nothing but RunCam swift (nano and full) and the video is fantastic  Nik

Runcam racer Nano 2 is awesome!  Vincent

T-MOTOR FPV motors – FPV Freestyle Camera Opinions

DJI. 👑 Did my first Bando yesterday. Man what a difference between my Predator and hdo Rapidfire goggle. Had no breakup and no weird latency. And the image quality was superb  💪💪💪  Martijn

I don’t fly freestyle but the Runcam Racer 2 / 3 is very popular even for freestyle here in Germany  Daniel

Predator. FTW  Vik

MultiGP Drone Racing Community – Video Antenna for 5″ Racing Opinions

The Lollipop has top performance at half the price  Shawn

Triumph is a grappling hook for gates. Even so, I used to run it for a while until I realized the Lollipop was cheaper, was tighter into my build to be protected, and the video wasn’t any worse, lol  Tom

VAS Victory is awesome, the Luminier Axii is awesome. The Lollipop is very lightly less awesome (a little larger and a little more fragile but performs just as well) but at half the price I don’t mind killing a few and replacing them since they are so much cheaper anyway  Jay

Micro Lollipop is freaking small and light, performs as good as the normal Lollipop  Harvey

DRONE RACING INTERNATIONAL FPV – Video Antenna for 5″ Freestyle Opinions

Foxeer are great. But if you can, buy a TBS  Devve

Even better get any of the TrueRC antennas the TBS and most of the VAS are copies of  Zak

Always loved TrueRC  Luke

TrueRC  Ryan

MultiGP Drone Racing Community – 20×20 Flight Controller for 5″ Racing Opinion

Mamba MK3, Talon, or some hobbywing combo. Also since ill probably be racing DJI from here on out, i may be going back to 30×30, since the current easiest DJI racing frame uses 30×30 to mount the vista (Merica HD)  Jon

DRONE RACING INTERNATIONAL FPV – 30×30 Flight Controller for 5″ Freestyle Opinions

The Diatone F405 are variable, went through two of them in a couple of months  Jordan

Although a popular flight controller, the Mamba stuff is variable  Luke

For the mamba haters. For the record I didn’t vote for it. But i will defend it. For the price you pay. You get a decent stack. Its the cheapest, and when it works, it works just as well as any other FC. Ive never had an issue with one… KISS is the ONLY FC that iv ever flown that has actually “felt smoother” than other flight controllers. And im too cheap to fly expensive parts that i fully intend on smashing to oblivion. Budget builder for life  Shawn

Revolts are solid (sensitive soldering pads), FC kiss v2 solid, brain solid, pyro f4 solid  Jim

OFFICIAL DJI DIGITAL FPV OWNERS GROUP – Flight Controller for DJI Air Unit Opinions

So, Ive decided for all of my quads with the DJI system to run off a separate BEC (BEC = battery elimination circuit or voltage regulator). Reason being, I suck at this. Bad. I crash a lot and go for cool cinematic shots when sometimes I should hold back. One of the things I’ve noticed during my numerous crashes is that the BEC on the FC seems to be a weak point in a crash. Crashes that the DJI air unit would have otherwise survived. I’ve had 3 different FC BECs go bad during a crash from 3 different manufacturers that have smoked an air unit. I have yet to have an external BEC go bad on me. Plus, I don’t have to worry about looking up if the FC can supply power to the air unit or not  Nick

Bad experience with Mamba f405 9v going bad on multiple boards. Also it skips out badly if you crash ever  JT
